An attractive topaz crystal from Katlang, Mardan District, Pakistan, displaying a delicate pale champagne to peach coloration with good transparency and bright vitreous luster.
This compact, broad crystal has been naturally etched giving it a pleasing luster. The peach to pink overtones are very apparent in person and difficult to fully capture on camera. This is my favourite topaz in inventory (actually on consignment) and has been saved from the gem cutter's saw. Let's find it a proper home.
Weighing 11 g, this is a pleasing example of topaz from an important Pakistani mineral locality. Its warm coloration, gemmy appearance and well-proportioned crystal form make it an appealing specimen for topaz and gem-mineral collectors. Mounted on an acrylic base.
