A classic British mineral specimen featuring lustrous, dark sphalerite crystals associated with fluorite and quartz from the historic Rodderup Mine, Cumberland, England.

The specimen is dominated by dark brown to nearly black sphalerite with strongly reflective crystal faces and a bright resinous to submetallic luster. Pale fluorite and quartz provide contrast across the matrix, creating an attractive example of the characteristic sulfide and gangue mineral associations found in the historic Cumberland mining district.
