An older legrandite specimen from the famous Ojuela Mine at Mapimí, Mexico. One face of the matrix is richly covered with numerous sprays and radiating groups of well-formed legrandite crystals, creating an intricate crystalline surface that is particularly impressive under magnification.
The crystals display warm yellow to golden tones and occur in a variety of attractive groups across the matrix. While many of the individual crystals are small, the extensive coverage and abundance of crystallized areas make this a particularly interesting specimen to explore under magnification, with excellent micromount potential.
