Rhodochrosite, American Tunnel, Colorado

A few stout rhodochrosite crystals along with masses of rhodochrosite on matrix from the modern classic Colorado locality. Along with the nice pinky red rhodos, there is a mix of sulphides (possibly tetrahedrite, galena and chalcopyrite) along with a few needles of quartz on the predominantly quartz matrix.
