Cersussite - Mibladen, Morocco

An impressive single cerussite crystal from Mibladen, Morocco, displaying well-defined crystal faces and a sharp termination. The crystal is complete and undamaged, with only a natural contact at the base marking where it was originally attached to the matrix. Its complex, lustrous surfaces give the specimen excellent visual character from multiple angles.
Under long-wave (365 nm) ultraviolet light, the cerussite exhibits a remarkably bright yellow fluorescence, dramatically transforming its appearance and adding another dimension to the specimen.
A substantial and attractive single crystal from one of Morocco's classic mineral localities.
