A highly attractive blue hemimorphite specimen featuring rounded botryoidal formations covered with a sparkling microcrystalline surface. Its vivid turquoise to sky-blue colour, glossy lustre and sculptural contours create an especially striking display against the contrasting brown matrix.
The Wenshan Mine is a zinc deposit renowned for producing some of China’s finest blue hemimorphite specimens. Material from this locality is particularly recognized for its saturated blue colour and botryoidal crystal habit.
This specimen comes from the extensive Bill Rouslin Collection we recently acquired.
