An attractive apatite specimen from Divino das Laranjeiras, Minas Gerais, Brazil, featuring a substantial pale peach to champagne-colored crystal associated with a contrasting light-colored pegmatite matrix.
The main apatite crystal is translucent with a soft peach coloration and displays broad, well-defined crystal faces with a vitreous luster. Smaller matrix crystals provide additional texture and contrast around the dominant apatite crystal.
Divino das Laranjeiras is a well-known mineral-producing area within Minas Gerais, a region internationally renowned for its mineral-rich granitic pegmatites and exceptional collector specimens.
