An attractive topaz with bixbyite specimen from the classic Topaz Mountain, Thomas Range, Juab County, Utah, USA, from the Mike Menzies collection.

This elegant miniature features a sculptural cluster of well-formed, transparent to translucent champagne to sherry-colored topaz crystals, with several prominent terminated crystals projecting in different directions. The warm coloration, glassy surfaces and intersecting crystal arrangement give the specimen excellent visual interest despite its compact size. Small dark bixbyite provides the characteristic mineral association for which the Topaz Mountain locality is well known.

The specimen is mounted on a clear acrylic base for display. Its combination of attractive natural topaz color, distinct crystal form, classic Utah locality and desirable bixbyite association makes this a particularly appealing example for a locality-focused or worldwide mineral collection.
