Fossil Lobster (Palinurus), Haqil, Lebanon

Part and counterpart of a fossil spiny lobster (Genus Palinurus). I love the detail on the antennae! One of the split halves of the specimen has a repaired piece but no restoration of the lobster. It appears that a chip came off during splitting and has simply been reattached. The other half is free of repairs. Upper Cretaceous, Haqil, Byblos, Lebanon. Dimensions: 15 x 22 and 15 x 22 cm (I will consider selling each piece individually at $300 or both for $600)
