A classic fluorite specimen from the famous Cave-in-Rock district of Illinois, featuring attractive purple crystals with distinctive smoky coloration. Subtle colour zoning is visible near the crystal edges, while scattered natural inclusions create an interesting speckled appearance and add depth to the otherwise translucent crystals.
The combination of rich purple colour, smoky tones and visible zoning gives this specimen plenty of character, with an attractive presentation from several angles. Recently acquired from an older collection.
