Wulfenite, Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico

Los Lamentos wulfenites remind me of my grandmother's hard candies (but don't eat this lead-based specimen!). This specimen shows several predominate wulfenite crystals with somewhat curved crystal faces. There is nice luster on most of the crystals although two of the larger ones are not as sharp (but not damaged. Contrasting nicely with the burnt orange wulfenites is the calcite matrix.
