Watermelon Tourmaline, Nuristan, Afghanistan

This tourmaline specimen shows classic light green and pink colouration ("watermelon"). One side of the main crystal is adorned with many smaller crystals of varying size and colour saturation. The main crystal is terminated and the body is nicely striated. Very nice in person as this one was difficult to photograph! From Nuristan, Afghanistan. Dimensions: 1.5 cm x 3 cm
