Vivianite with Pyrite & Siderite, Catavi, Llallagua, Potosi, Bolivia

With its mountain-like silhouette, friends and colleagues feel this specimen would make a perfect corporate logo for my business. This is a killer specimen - terrific colour, form, aesthetics and provenance. The spherical pyrites with siderite add the perfect amount of balance and interest too. Even more attractive in-person, this piece always grabs attention at the shows I participate in. Comes with an old "Bolivian Mineral Classics" label from our friends, the Kosnar family, who likely exported this beauty from Bolivia back in the day. The Kosnar's know their stuff! There are a few tiny nicks on several terminations and a cleavage off of another. However, this specimen is very hard to let go.
