Vivianite, Sao Gabriel da Cachoeira, Brazil

Bolivia was the world standard for flashy vivianite crystals until the Brazillian Amazaon yielded these beauties recently. This is a spectacular cabinet-sized specimen showing classic, lustrous radiating crystals attached to an iron-rich ooidic (?) matrix.
