Tourmaline variety Schorl with Fluorite, Erongo, Namibia

I love Erongo minerals for specimens like this one. Thick schorl crystals wonderfully etched and revealing a three-point pattern on the terminations. The largest schorl crystal has a diameter of 2 cm. Purple to green fluorite nestled in between to give nice contrast. Resting on a thin base of feldspar with a few minor quartz crystals on the "bottom". Very attractive overall. Ex Mike Menzies collection # 1766. From Erongo Mountains, Erongo Region, Namibia.
