Tourmaline (variety Indicolite), Minas Gerais, Brazil

This beautifully coloured tourmaline is from the collection of Sarah Topham, former partner of famous Canadian mineral dealer Prosper Williams. The crystal is colour zoned in various shades of blue-green with the top being quite gemmy. One end has a flat termination that has been partially recrystallized. The other end shows dissolution revealing a hollow core of about 5mm in length. This is a very pretty specimen with rich colour. From Minas Gerais, Brazil. Dimensions: 1.25 cm x 2 cm
