We have come across an old stash of these modern classics from Australia. This locality was quite active in the 1970s-1980s when a mining engineer set these aside but were forgotten until now. This piece is double-terminated although one side is sharper than the other. Dark brown to honey-brown with glassy luster and slight translucency. Minor attached muscovite and quartz reflective of the host rock from which these grew. A very nice and offered for sale for the first time. From the Yinnietharra Mine, Western Australia, Australia.
