Tourmaline in Albite, Stak Nala, Haramosh Mountains, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

Tourmaline is easily one of my favourite minerals and this piece is a terrific example. This crystal show multiple colours, from pink to various shades of green, all contrasted nicely against its white albite matrix. Although many tourmalines from Stak Nala have simple, flat crystal terminations, this one has a nicely complex tip, with no damage. A very cute miniature that would fit nicely into any collection.
