Topaz, Aquamarine, Quartz, Albite, Mica and Schorl, Dusso, Gilgit, Pakistan

The rich pegmatites of northern Pakistan yield a great variety of minerals. We have a combination of several Pakistani classics into one beautiful specimen. The stars of this show are the nicely terminated topaz and aquamarine crystals. Both are perched upon a mixture of lighter-coloured quartz, feldspar (albite) and mica (muscovite) along with some black tourmaline (schorl).
