As if Indian zeolites need any more flash or interest, along came these celadonite-included crystals. Celadonite, a French-derived name for "sea-green", is a clay mineral that is often found filling vesicles (cavities) within volcanic rocks like basalt. In this case, the celadonite has been incorporated (included) into a stilbite crystal turning in from a salmon colour to green. The main crystal here is doubly-terminated with several smaller crystals jutting out in various directions making for a nice miniature. Ex Steve Potvin collection. Mounted on an acrylic base. From: Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. Dimensions: 3 cm x 5 cm
