Smithsonite, Tsumeb, Namibia (Ex Prosper J. Williams)

Interpenetrate smithsonite rhombs on colloform matrix  with minor galena on the base.  The smithsonite crystals are colourless and sharp although a few have minor dings. The largest crystal is 2 cm long. Aesthetic for the size and photography does not do it justice.  From Prosper J. Williams' inventory, so this piece is probably from the 1970s. Comes with Prosper's label. From Tsumeb, Namibia. Dimensions: 3.5 x 3.5 x 4 cm
