Smithsonite, Berg Aukas, Namibia (Ex Prosper J. Williams)

Aesthetic group of smithsonite crystals with a pleasing honey brown colouration. The larger smithsonite rhombs appear to show darker colour zonation near their edges and are translucent; almost gemmy with no damage. There is a spray of drusy smithsonite (?) on one edge. From the old inventory of Prosper J. Williams, dating to the late 1970s. Accompanied with Prosper's label. From Berg Aukas, Namibia. Dimensions: 4.5 x 5 cm
