Ruby in Marble, Hunza Valley, Pakistan

Nicely crystalized corundum (variety ruby) perched up in prominent view in marble. The main crystal is 1.5 cm with a smaller crystal on the reverse side with some biotite mica, and possibly orange-brown chondrite. Brightly fluorescent under UV light.
