Richardoestesia tooth (3/4"), Hell Creek Formation, Garfield County, Montana

Richardoestesia is a theropod (carnivore) dinosaur of which very little is known. Other than a set of jaw bones, mostly only teeth are know from richardoestesia. Our example is very long at 1.8 cm (3/4") with nice, fine serrations. A beautiful, complete tooth from the Hell Creek Formation outcrops on the Jason Phipps Ranch, Garfield County, southwest of Jordan, Montana. Upper Cretaceous. Dimensions: 0.6 cm wide x 1.8 cm long.
