Quartz on Galena, Dalnegorsk, Primorsky Krai, Russia

The mines in the Dalnegorsk area are known for fun and interesting forms of quartz, among many other collectable minerals. This specimen shows a nice spray of terminated quartz crystals attached to a cluster of galena crystals. A couple of the quartz tips have been broken though yet both sides of the specimen are quite showy. One side is dominated by the quartz spray while the galena is spectacular on the reverse side!
