Pyromorphite, San Salvin Mine, Centre-Val de Loire, France

We recently purchased a sizeable collection from the estate of the late Garry Kolodinsky. Among several suites of minerals Garry focused on, Idaho and French pyromorphites were near the top of the list. We hope to list many pieces in the coming months.

One of many French pyromorphites in Garry's collection, this piece stands out for its dark green colour. The radial mounds of crystals richly cover the specimen although there is noticeable contact damage on many of the fine crystals. From San Salvin Mine, Centre-Val de Loire, France.
