We recently purchased a sizeable collection from the estate of the late Garry Kolodinsky. Among several suites of minerals Garry focused on, Idaho and French pyromorphites were near the top of the list. We hope to list many pieces in the coming months.
This is amongst the larger specimens Garry collected and is richly covered with barrel-shaped micro-pyromorphite crystals. The crystals are in very good condition overall with nice luster; the longest of which is approximately 4mm. This piece has excellent provenance and can be identified to the level and stope number from within the mine! From 14 level, 140-18-22 stope, floor 9, Brown orebody, Bunker Hill Mine, Kellogg, Idaho. Dimensions: 7 cm x 9.5 cm
