Pink Sapphire, Sri Lanka

This is my favourite gem crystal we are currently offering! This corundum (variety sapphire) has a rare pink-to-lavender colour and is slightly gemmy. The crystal shows the common tapering habit on both ends but shows complex terminations and additionally smaller crystals sprouting from the main crystal. Very attractive from all angles!
