Grossular (variety Hessonite), Jeffrey Mine, Quebec, Canada

Being Canadian I may be a bit impartial on this, but Jeffrey Mine hessonites are easily the world's best in my humble opinion. We have a few available and this small piece does not disappoint. This cluster of six hessonites show beautifully striated crystal faces and that perfect shade of orange. These crystals are very gemmy and remind me of candies from grandma's house!
