Here we have a great alternative to the Brazilian and Venezuelan crystalized gold specimens that have flooded the market recently. The Mount Kare Mine yielded many of these back in the 1980s and have been stashed away since. The handful currently on the market tend to be under a gram. Our specimen weighs 3 grams, is crystalized on all sides and its bright yellow colour implies high purity.  Stealing the show is the prominent 0.7 cm long crystal protruding from one side!
