Fossil Crab - Potamon potamios, Turkey

Freshwater crab (Potamon potamios) in life position within its gallery. As with our other offerings, this specimen its pincer and is an attractive fossil from many angles. I like this one as it shows the crab in its former home. Apparently these were fossilized in-place.
