Fossil Crab - Potamon Potamios, Turkey

Freshwater crab (Potamon potamios). The detail here is very good and I like the scattering of its appendages as if a current has swashed them partially away. The shell is completely empty and the inside can be viewed from some angles. Very cool! Comes secured in a plastic case (top has been removed for photographs but base is shown). Pleistocene, Anatolia, Turkey. Dimensions: 10.5 x 12 cm SOLD
