Fluorite, Navidad Mine, Durango, Mexico

We have a nice cluster of octahedral fluorite crystals from the Navidad Mine in Mexico in the classic purple the mine is known for. At first glance I thought this was an amethyst specimen so it really is a nice shade of purple. This is a sizeable piece with appealing form and the crystals contrast nicely with the small amount of white volcanic matrix they grew upon. Ex Steve Potvin collection.
