This purple fluorite is reminiscent of a Borg Cube from the Star Trek franchise; Resistance is futile! True words in this case, as this specimen is imposing and captivating. My photos are not even backlit and yet the deep purple wants to shine through. The crystallization is very attractive and intricate. Note some natural speckling on some sides which may be petroleum inclusions. The piece is complete all around except for contact point on one side (see video). There is some abrasion to a few edges but otherwise in great shape. This is my favourite fluorite in inventory and will be hard to let go! Ex Bill Rouslin collection: From: Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Tennessee. Dimensions: 7 cm x 6.5 cm x 4.5 cm
