Edingtonite, Ice River Alkaline Complex, Near Golden, British Columbia, Canada

Edingtonite is a rare, barium member of the zeolite group and specimens from the Ice River Alkaline Complex near Golden, B.C are known for producing the best-of-the-species. Edingtonite rarely comes on to the market and these are first-class specimens. Collected by Allen Ingelson decades ago in rough, high altitude terrain and offered for sale for the first time.

A nice representative specimen completely covered in sharp edingtonite crystals to 3mm on both sides. Probably a crust or fracture-filling example with nice sparkle! Very nice for the size.
