Edingtonite is a rare, barium member of the zeolite group and specimens from the Ice River Alkaline Complex near Golden, B.C are known for producing the best-of-the-species. Edingtonite rarely comes on to the market and these are first-class specimens. Collected by Allen Ingelson decades ago in rough, high altitude terrain and offered for sale for the first time.
This piece displays colloform, stacked masses of edingtonite crystals on vuggy carbonate matrix. This habit is different from the other specimens we currently have available. Individual crystals to 2mm. Dimensions: 4.5 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm
