Dioptase, Tsumeb, Namibia (Ex Prosper J. Williams)

A fun specimen with sharp, undamaged dioptase crystals resting on malachite (?) covering a botryoidal mix of carbonates. Admittedly I cannot identify all the minerals comprising the matrix. The dioptase crystals reach 0.5 cm. Prosper J. Williams old material from the late 1970s-early 1980s. Specimen is accompanied by one of his labels. From Tsumeb, Namibia. Dimensions: 2 x 2.5 x 3.5 cm
