Cornetite, Star of Congo Mine, Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo

Perfect little spherulites of dark blue cornetite on a thin veneer of malachite. The Star of Congo Mine is famous for this mineral combination and I stumbled across this nice piece in a older collection. Quite attractive and a nice addition for any copper or DRC collection.
