Single, twinned cerussite crystals are fairly uncommon but a cluster of them? I am privileged to offer this rare piece. There are about nine V-shaped (twinned) cerussites of varying sizes here along with a forest of single, needle-like crystals. Unfortunately there are a few nicks on some of the larger crystal edges but the aesthetics of the piece make up for quite a bit. The specimen also reacts strongly (yellow) under exposure to 365nm ultraviolet light. Likely discovered pre-1990 and has been hiding in a Calgary collection ever since. Ex George Sutherland, Ex Mike Ridding. From: Touissit, Jerada Province, Morocco. Dimensions: 7 cm x 7 cm
