Carrollite in Calcite, Kamoya Mine, Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo

Metallic carrollite crystals in white calcite matrix from D.R Congo are easily some of the most attractive (and relatively rare) sulphide specimens in the world (just our opinion!). This is a nice example carrollite (a nickel-bearing copper-cobalt sulphide). There is a golden, sulphide associated with the carrollite which we believe is pyrite.
