Calcites have an amazing variety of forms with twinning being particularly intriguing. This beautiful specimen shows a diverse array of calcite crystal sizes with several prominent twinned ("V"-shaped) crystals. The honey colour and bright luster really add to the specimen's appeal as well. Easily one of my favourite calcites I have offered. Ex Garry Kolodinsky collection.
