This specimen is richly covered with calaverite - a rare gold telluride - on two sides. Each side appears to be split along a thin vein with one side rich in purple fluorite along with the calaverite. This same side has elongated calaverite crystals in a mass stretching 3.5 cm! From the classic calaverite locality in Colorado: the Cresson Mine, Cripple Creek, Teller County. Ex Allan Ingelson collection. Also comes with old label from David New Minerals.
