Beryl, Schorl & Fluorite, David Ost Farm, Erongo, Namibia

One of my favourite miniatures from the Mike Menzies collection. A very aesthetic arrangement of colour-zoned beryl crystals with contrasting sprays of micro-schorl tourmaline and a sprinkling of a few fluorite crystals. The beryls are light green with several turning a medium shade of green at the terminations, all with light natural etching. The beryl terminations are either sharp or recrystallized natural breaks. Ex Mike Menzies #1594. From David Ost Farm, Erongo Mountains, Erongo Region, Namibia. Dimensions: 4 x 5 x 6 cm. The longest beryl crystal is 2.5 cm tall.
