Acquired from Prosper Williams' partner, Sarah Topham, this beautiful azurite has been hidden away for decades until now. This specimen is richly-covered with tiny bright blue, transparent azurite blades with some contrasting calcite. Most of the azurites are 1-2.5 mm long with nice luster and form, although there is scattered minor damage. Other unidentified species are present as well. The specimen is accompanied by a classic label (1970s vintage) from Prosper Williams which makes this a historically valuable specimen (note the old price and country of origin name!). From Tsumeb, Namibia. Dimensions: 5.5 cm x 9 cm
