Azurite, La Sal, Utah

The La Sal Mining District in Utah is famous among mineral collectors for producing beautiful azurite specimens. In particular, La Sal is noted for its attractive bladed or tabular rosettes of azurites perfectly spread out on contrasting matrix. This specimen has all of those sought-after hallmarks.
