Apophyllite with Stilbite on drusy quartz, Nasin, Maharashtra, India

Two common zeolite minerals from India but of excellent quality and composition. The salmon-coloured stilbites are cute but I really like the gemmy apophyllite crystals, especially the little ones. The dark matrix is covered in a light druse of micro quartz crystals, giving both nice colour contrast to the larger minerals, and plenty of additional sparkle too! Ex George Sutherland collection.
