Usually I am purist when it comes to crystals, meaning I like perfect forms. The natural etching, however, of Ukrainian heliodors from Volodarsk are a mega exception for me! I love how this crystals sparkles after having endured natural acidic conditions since their initial formation. We have a small lot of these crystals, direct from the source, which were recently extracted even with the hostilities raging elsewhere in the country. This is a beautiful, and affordable, example with nice yellow colour and some remnant crystal faces too. From Khoroshiv Raion (Volodarsk-Volynskii), Zytomar Raion, Zytomar Oblast, Ukraine.
